Chapter 2 The structure and Function of plasma membrane

-Describe the membrane function.
-Explain the molecular structure (fluid-mosaic model).

Chapter 3 Mitochondrion
Students will be able to:
-Explain the structure and function of mitochondrion.

-Describe half-autonomy of mitochondrion.
-Define oxidative phosphorylation, elementary particle, electron-transport chain (respiratory chain) and cellular respiration (cellular oxidation, biological oxidation).

Chapter 4 Endomembrane System
Students will be able to:
-Explain the structural form of the ribosome as far as its four functional active sites are concerned.
-Explain the structural form and functions of the Rough Endoplasmic Reticulum (rER) and Smooth Endoplasmic Reticulum (sER).
