 患者邓氏翠（音译），女，39岁，越南人，于2002年9月份在广西医科大学一附院血液内科确诊为骨髓增生异常综合症（MDS-RAEB），该病属于血液恶性疾病，是白血病的前期，大多数患者会很快转变成白血病。除造血干细胞移植外，目前尚无根治方法。该患者确诊后曾多次在广西医科大学一附院血液科及当地医院住院，经药物治疗无效，长期依赖输血。病人及其家属获知广西医科大学一附院血液科能开展造血干细胞移植术后，强烈要求进行手术。经过HLA配型，发现患者的一个哥哥与她完全相合，可以提供造血干细胞进行移植术。经与病人家属协商，医生考虑给予进行异基因外周血干细胞移植术。今年7月患者再次住院，经过一系列准备后，于8月6日进行了异基因造血干细胞移植术，术后10天移植到她体内的哥哥的造血干细胞开始重建造血，目前经检查证明供者干细胞已经在患者体内植入，移植取得了成功，近期可以康复出院。
造血干细胞移植包括骨髓移植、外周血干细胞移植及脐带血移植，按造血干细胞的来源又可分为自体造血干细胞移植和异体造血干细胞移植。造血干细胞移植是目前根治白血病、骨髓增生异常综合征、淋巴瘤、多发性骨髓瘤等血液恶性肿瘤和重型再生障碍性贫血、阵发性睡眠性血红蛋白尿、地中海贫血等难治性血液病的最好方法，治愈率达50％～80％。此外，造血干细胞移植对一些重症系统性红斑狼疮、多发性硬化等自身免疫性疾病以及一些乳腺癌、卵巢癌、小细胞肺癌、神经母细胞瘤等实体恶性肿瘤也有很好的临床疗效，是一项很有应用前景的新技术。
